PHYSICAL FOCUS: Dynamic kicking, footwork, flexibility/mobility, core training, board breaking, forms/poomsae, self defense

Classes begin with dynamic flexibility/warm-ups, target and pad kicking, footwork, forms (poomsae), board breaking, and core/stability. Written curriculum from white belt (beginner) through 6th degree Black Belt is set, showing a clear path for any level of student to set goals and progress. Students have the opportunity to just be a student, become an instructor, referee, or competitor. Tournaments are available to attend, but are not required.
REQUIREMENTS TO JOIN CLASS
- Students ages 8 & up may attend the same class.
- New students must go through an introductory lesson prior to joining the beginner group class.
NEW STUDENTS WITH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
Aim High welcomes people of all different backgrounds and training levels and honors the hard work you've put in to your training. If you have previous experience and would like to see how your previous training compares to what is taught in the Aim High TKD program, you may set up an evaluation with one of our TKD instructors. GEAR / EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Beginners: Taekwondo uniform
Intermediate: Instep/shin protection, Chest guard
Advanced: Full Taekwondo sparring gear (Yellow/Stripe & higher may spar)
