Color Belt Testing Scoring System Explanation
As of June 2014, the FK TKD program will move away from a more ambiguous A-B-C grading system to a more details 1-5 scoring system on it grading sheets. Each major area will be graded on this scale, and then the points will be totaled up for your final score.
The scoring system follows this chart:
1 - Poor
2 - Below Average
3 - Average
4 - Very Good
5 - Excellent
As long as the student can maintain a "3" average they will be passing to the next belt level. Your testing sheet will list the following: Best Possible Score, Minimum Passing Score, and Your Score.
Decided tape (red tape) will be given to those students that maintain a Very Good or Excellent overall score.
