I almost feel really bad for posting longer blogs than most? I mean, compared to everyone else’s blogs, I’m writing novels with a three part trilogy, but I guess that’s to be expected from someone whose focus is writing at the only art school in my district.
Speaking of my school, recently we had something called “capstones.” Capstones are these performances put on by the graduating class hosted in various locations around the school by each senior, and in these capstones, they share their knowledge to the underclassmen (aka everyone else in the school.) It’s a reflection everyone at ACMA - my school - must do in order to graduate there. Some were very funny and well-written, others were very deep and chill-inducing. Nonetheless, all were extremely memorable and held good advice that maybe I’ll use for my capstone in the future. I’m absolutely terrified by the thought of planning my capstone, but hey, it’s never too early to be thinking about this type of stuff.
Also, word of advice for those who will be going to ACMA in the near future: don’t forget about your capstone. Seriously, don’t let capstones slip your mind. You must eat, breathe, and sleep capstone ideas.
