Hello testing team!
Last Saturday, we had the kick-a-thon, as well as the Starlight run. For being the first run of the year for me, I think I did really well time wise. Not only had me and the teammates who ran with us do that, but they also had completed the kick-a-thon a few hours before, some even doing more by volunteering. Even though I did a smaller amount of kicks then I did my last time at the event, I was also having to remember I had to do another event later that day that also required using my leg muscles.
I'm not saying I couldn't have done better in both topics, because everything you do can always be better, even from a simple change. As the saying says "practice makes perfect". For example, during the run I had a combination of walking, jogging, running. Personally, I'm not the best at running long distance, so my goal for the next run is to only do jogging and running, not having to slow down that much.. Even if I do walk, it will be for a tiny bit, because step by step you get better at something every time you do it.
I want to thank everyone who ran with me as a group. The people that came to the event itself as awesome. But the fact that a handful of you stayed with me in a group, running the course together and not alone, is amazing to boot. Jae-Jae, Taylor, Jullian, Hailey and Katlyn, I hope at the next event we can all stay together like we did!
