Blog Entry: Recently, I visited the North Cascades in Washington. For those that have never heard of them, the North Cascades are a section of the Cascade Range. They span the border between British Columbia and Washington (the state) They include mountains/volcanos such as Mt. Baker, Glacier Peak, and Coquihalla Mountain.
We walked on Blue Lake Trail, something we spotted when driving on the highway. It was only 4.4 miles, roundtrip, but nobody in my family, including me, had brought any water. To make it worse, we had to hike on the snow which was just melting, making it extremely slippery.
