Valletta, Malta is not a very common place to go to, but it sure is a beautiful one. I had a great time walking along the ancient streets and learning about the history of their resilient people. When we got back on the ship, my dad and I went to the gym for me to make up the special training that I had missed. I ended up biking 8.02 miles on a stationary bike in 30 minutes. My original goal was 5 miles, so it was really exciting to go beyond that, especially because distance biking/running has never been my strong suit. My dad was still working on the bike (because he is Superman and biked over 15 miles), so I got to learn how to use some other exercise machines. Then I did push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and rows, to catch up on my numbers, and practiced my plank. It was a great workout, and lots of fun too because I didn't have to do it alone.
