Yo Ethos Black Belt team!
This past weekend was very exciting with the Fitness Evaluation!
I improved by a lot and everyone did fantastic!
For push-up: I improved by 12! For sit-ups: I improved by 23! For squats: I improved by 7! For burpees: I improved by 9! And my time for planks improved by 10 seconds!
I didn't tell you how much I actually did for the fitness evaluation because I think the most important thing is that I improved, not how much I was able to do. As long as I keep improving, I'll get better and that's really all that matters. It's okay if your numbers aren't so big, as long as you tried and got better, you did great! I think everyone has really improved since the begining of this test, and that is amazing! Keep up the good work, team!
Speaking of improving- I got the chance to improve my ice skating skills on Sunday at a party, and I've gotten a lot better from when I started! But then again, when I started I didn't even know how to move on the ice without hugging the wall. It was a lot of fun once I got the hang of it and I only ended up falling twice. The first time was before I got the hang of ice skating, but the second time I fell was after I learned and a girl was going straight at me- looking as if she was going to hug me. In attempt to not hit her (and to not get hugged) I tried stopping but failed miserably. Luckily the girl was fine, but there I was sitting on the ice floor, trying to figure out how to get up. Although the second time I fell hurt, I still managed to get back on my feet and keep ice skating. I would really like to go ice skating again, even though I fell really hard.
