This morning, I finished the ball balancing portion of the
personal training section of the Ethos binder requirements. This does not mean that I will stop balancing on a ball, for it is how I like to spend the first five minutes of my TKD workouts; it gives me time to plan what I want to accomplish during the remaining portion of said workout. I am a little over 2/3 of the way through poomsae requirements and almost 2/3 finished with the kicking requirements. I could be further along in the kicking, but in addition to practicing 50 roundhouses (the kick that I chose to work on for the test) each workout, I also perform 50 repetitions of another kick each workout. This week, I have been working on my fast kicks, for last Friday, Coach Donna, as she is apt to do, made some corrections to my form when performing a fast kick. I feel that the Friday classes are aiding me greatly in my preparations for my black belt test.
