Time is zooming by and everyday of the week seems to be
packed with its own schedule. In fact just this past Saturday I took my big ACT test and for those of you who don't know, the ACT is a high school level test that quizzes you on math, the sciences, reading, writing and English. The score I receive from this test will determine whether or not I get into certain colleges and may help me obtain some full ride scholarships. I remember being escorted to my testing room, being seated at a desk and telling myself to think positive... just think positive. Once the test was put in front of me I knew that there was no going back and that I had to try my best and Aim High. Thankfully my father pushed me into taking several ACT and SAT classes that were really painful to sit through, but in the end had really helped me out a ton!
The overall lesson I learned from taking those ACT and SAT
classes was that even though I felt out of my comfort zone taking them, in the end they made the most significant impact on my positive outlook on the ACT. I find out my test score between three to eight weeks, but in the meantime I'll be preparing for my next big test... the SAT.
