FS-Brandon Machan-Shamrock Run

            Blog #4

A week ago, we recently did the Shamrock Run with a lot of

the Ethos Black Belt Testing Team. Most of the team did the 5k Run/Walk with us(The kids) and made sure none of us got lost. We absolutely blasted through the run. A lot of us only stopped once or twice during the run. Luckily for us, the weather reports weren't right. It did rain, but it was more of a slight sprinkle and it didn't really bother us.

The run was one of the best runs I've done. I usually stop a

lot during 3 Mile Runs. I had some electrolyte water with me and some music to keep my mind off the distance (I should have done this way before) which was nice, so I didn't wonder if we were almost done. I also tried to control my breathing better than most of my runs, and succeeded. The 3 Miles I ran took somewhere between 30 and 40 minutes. I don't remember the exact time.

This year we also had 2 new runners with us. The poom belts,

Ryan and Kaelan. They did really well. Good job Team.
