This week was filled with lots of fun and training! On Thursday, I did a sparring training with Kaelan. We practiced some speed drills like trying to defensive side kick your opponent before they back fist you. Once we were done we did 5 round of sparring up to 2 minutes each. We finished our session with kicks and a knowledge base quiz. Kaelan is doing great and I am proud of her for finishing her binder! I know that she will do great on the test. We also had our last Saturday training. When I finished the training and I preformed my open form, I felt great that I was able to do my entire form without having to stop! My form has been a challenge for me because it is very explosive and require a lot of my energy. Being able to do it all make me feel confidant for the performance. I finished the day by helping out Ryan. We practiced sticks, mainly disarms, and also forms. Once we finished, Ryan’s form was looking much better than it had before so it made me feel great that I was able to help him work on things he need to rep more before the test.
